An important life lesson that my sister found herself trying to teach my nephew:
"We DO NOT eat dead bugs from the cabinet under the sink!"

R.I.P. Mr. Bear

There was a fatal accident earlier this afternoon involving a salad spinner and Mr. Bear.

Our hearts go out to Mrs. Bear in this trying time. Mr. Bear truly was an extraordinary refrigerator magnet and will never be forgotten.

10 Year Anniversary Dinner

Today marks 10 years since my family made aliya, we had a BBQ dinner to celebrate. Buzzy really seemed to enjoy himself :)

Family dinners are really great, we eat the food and then the plates.

Mad Scientist

Today Buzzy decided to try experimenting, all he needs now is a white lab coat and some gloves.



I'm not entirely sure what it is that's being created or if it was successful but I wish him well in his endeavors.

Their Conversation Is A Little Stale

As you may or may not know, my sister and her family are moving next week. In an effort to clean out the fridge/freezer my sister is turning everything into baked goods.

Muffins:"what's up cake?"

The Heat Takes It's Toll

My sister sent me this picture but neglected to provide background information, I like to think that they're taking a nice relaxing nap as opposed to being passed out from heat stroke and exhaustion.

Today my nephew tried going vegetarian.

Buzzy went to visit his cousin today, she was so nice and shared her hat and necklace with him.

You might think that planking is so 2011 but Woozy (one of Buzzy's best buddies) is here to prove you wrong.

Papoy?

My nephew has an overabundance of exciting toys at his disposal on a daily basis.
Here are his favorite ones at the moment:

An old ipad cover and a salad utensil

Alien Communication Device

My mom found this old toy down in the basement, it used to be a phone but according to my sister it's been rewired into some sort of alien communication device.

Apparently it randomly starts moaning and screeching as the transmissions come in.

My nephew was very enthusiastic about the idea of making french fries.

Buzzy waiting patiently for the french fries to come out of the oven 

 He eventually got tired of waiting patiently and was forced to revert to other tactics.

Buzzy doing some form of tribal dance in hopes of speeding up the cooking process. 

After a torturous 20 minutes the fries were finally ready, Buzzy was ecstatic and we all stuffed our faces.

Sticker Butt

Today my sister gave my nephew a bunch of stickers and let him run wild.

Something tells me that my brother in-law didn't find it quite as amusing as my sister did.....

Iced coffee gone wrong

My sister made ice coffee this morning but then she decided that she didn't want it so she stuck it in the freezer. An hour later she went to find it but it was already frozen so she got sad and sent me a picture so that I could share in her sorrows.

*Update* She sent me an updated photo.

Notice how there is a layer of ice stuck at the midpoint of the cup? A truly harrowing experience.
