Buzz In A Box

Yesterday my nephew got a nice new toy. As per usual, he was more interested in playing with the box.
He was pretty excited about his new toy until he realized that he was stuck.
Terrified at the thought of living out the rest of his life stuck in a box, he began to panic. His mother rescued him from the offending box and told him that if he didn't want to get stuck, he should stay out of it.
Buzz listened to his wise mothers words and stayed away from the box for the remainder of the day.
The next morning my sister heard a familiar wail, she went into the living room to investigate and was not surprised at what she found.
A distraught Buzzy trapped in a box.
Will he ever learn?

Tiny Russian Living Under The Couch

My brother in law found this under our couch today. None of us have been to Russia lately....
The obvious answer is that there's a tiny Russian living under our couch.
The coin that we stole from the Russian midget under our couch.

Regrets

"That moment that you wished you'd named your kid Jose so that telling him 'no way' would be more personalized and mean something."

Detective Buzz And The Mystery Of The Underside Of The Swing

It was a clear and sunny morning, "perfect day for solving mysteries" the detective thought to himself. He wandered into the kitchen and checked the clock. "10:15. Yes, that would work." he mussed to himself as he made his way to the spare freezer in the living room where the big people insisted on keeping his shoes.
He waited patiently as his slave mother took the shoes down from their throne and put them on his feet. The detective hopped off the couch and crossed the room to stand in front of the door, he waited for his mother to grab her bag and set them free.
They went down in the elevator which was no problem, the detective loved pushing the buttons on the wall.
Outside of the building, the detective took off. He was eager to get to the park, today was the day that he would solve the mystery.
At the park he circled his prey, the swing set. "This is where it all began" he shook his head and laughed,  "It was to easy, almost like taking food from a grown up.".
His mother watched him from her bench, a bemused expression on her face. "What an odd child." she thought to herself "At least he seems to be having fun" she conceded.
The detective took a deep breath and walked over to the swing. He grasped the swing firmly in his hands and bent down to get a closer look.

"AHA!" he exclaimed while poking at the swing. "Another day. Another mystery solved." he thought proudly to himself. He proudly showed the underside of the swing to his mother, she smiled and gave him what she hoped was a nod of encouragement.
The detective smiled at his own ingenuity and walked over to his mother "She's lucky to have me as a son. The greatest detective of all time!" he looked up at her.
His mother smiled down at him "So very strange" she said to herself again. "Case closed" the detective thought as he took his mothers hand and lead her home.
